Concept I began to think of things that convey all sorts of emotions using still items such as stacks of money and trumpets. I was watching a show on tigers and then the idea clicked. They are powerful, large predators, full of energy and cunning.Production of the Image I hired a model and had some basic makeup done on the set. I knew the image was going to be joined in Photoshop. I captured the image I wanted. Photoshop now came into play. I started to create brushes with certain feather and jitter effects using my Wacom 4 tablet. Once I had the basics done I opened it in Painter and did a lot more refining. I used Maya Studio to create the hair texture in a 3d envir0nment. It was first created as a wireframe. Unlike Photoshop, most 3D apps allow you to place lighting where you want it. It took about 40 minutes to make . Presentation I printed a 16×20 print on my Epson 7600 and presented the image to both the ad agency and the client. The image was used by the client on different marketing efforts as it caught everyone’s the eye. I would love to get your thoughts on this and hear your comments.
